CORE ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA FOR INJECTORS
Common Rail Fuel Injectors have a solenoid with either two connector wire posts or an integrated molded electrical connector. Damage to the solenoid would include bent or broken post, cracked molded electrical connector. Damage to solenoid body would include vise grip marks or markings from other tools. Partial credit will be given if any of this applies to your core.
The above are examples of bad solenoids that will only be acceptable for partial credit.
CORE ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA FOR CP3’S
CP3 Fuel Pumps have 3 freeze plugs. If any or all plugs are missing or damaged, the CP3 will not be accepted as a core. If CP3 is full of rust and water or other foreign materials it will only qualify for partial credit.
ACCEPTABLE
The freeze plugs in this CP3 are still intact, this would be an acceptable core.
NOT ACCEPTABLE
This is a CP3 with freeze plugs missing. If your freeze plugs are missing, this is more than likely what the inside of your CP3 looks like. This is not an acceptable core.
